Visit the Danish Parliament

Visiting the Danish Parliament is a must when visiting the capital of Denmark. From Monday to Friday throughout the summer, you can get on one of our interesting guided tours to see the inside of the Parliament.

The guided tours aim to give you an insight into Christiansborg as a workplace for the Members of Parliament and as the centre of democracy and legislative power in Denmark.
Our guides will tell you about the dramatic and interesting history of Christiansborg Palace and the development of Danish democracy.

The guided tours in English take place from Monday to Friday at 12 o’clock noon. If you have any questions, please contact the Danish Parliament’s Visitors’ Service.

Tours are free and take about 45 minutes.

Tickets

Tickets for the guided tours can be booked online. You can also collect your tickets at the Danish Parliament’s Visitors’ Entrance on the same day that you wish to go on a guided tour.

Tickets will be handed out at 10.00 a.m. in accordance with the »first come, first served« principle.

All visitors will be requested to go through a security check at the Visitors’ Entrance, which is located beneath the main staircase in Rigsdagsgården. We therefore request you to arrive 15 minutes before the appointed time.
