Steering Committee Meeting in Paris of the Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Center (WB3C) Franco-Slovenian project, in partnership with Montenegro – (21 March 2023)

The first tripartite face-to-face Steering Committee meeting of the Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Center (WB3C) Franco-Slovenian project, in partnership with Montenegro, took place on Tuesday 21 March in Paris.

During this meeting, participants recalled the need to strengthen the skills and capacities of the countries of the region in cybersecurity and the fight against cybercrime, in the service of the Western Balkans’ stability, resilience and security, and in line with the signing of a tripartite letter of intent on November 15 on the establishment of this regional center.

The first activities of the cyber center will start in the first half of 2023.

The participants also reiterated their ambition to create an international organization to support and organize the activities of this regional center, which will be open to all countries in the region and to all regional organizations and partners wishing to contribute, in the spirit of cooperation that animates the European Political Community in areas of common interest.
