Delivery of more food aid to Gaza’s civilian population (6 December 2023)

At the follow-up meeting to the International Humanitarian Conference for the Civilian Population in Gaza, which met online today, Wednesday 6 December, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mme Catherine Colonna, announced the delivery of more food aid to Gaza’s civilian population.

A 600-tonne cargo of food supplements will be shipped by sea, through joint action supported by France with the CMA CGM Foundation and the World Food Programme (WFP), which France thanks.

This delivery will add to more than 200 tonnes of humanitarian freight already delivered, comprising, among other things, food of high nutritional value supplied by the company Nutriset, shelters, emergency medical kits and medical equipment.

France will tirelessly continue its efforts to help Gaza’s civilians.
