Is the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs monitoring the situation of Coline Fay, who is being detained in Senegal?
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs’ offices in Dakar and Paris, together with her family, are closely monitoring Coline Fay’s situation.
She is entitled to consular protection like all French nationals arrested abroad who request it. She therefore recently received a consular visit to ascertain the conditions of her detention, the state of her health, and respect for her right to a defense.
