On January 8, the Danish Parliament held the annual New Year’s reception for the diplomatic corps.
Every year, the Danish Parliament welcomes the diplomatic corps working and residing in Denmark to a joyous evening.
Ms. Pia Kjærsgaard, Speaker of the Danish Parliament, gave a speech to the attending diplomats. She announced some of the upcoming initiatives planned by the Danish Parliament, including the upcoming general election as well as the election for the European Parliament. She also highlighted the importance of good international relations.
