France is deeply concerned about the very heavy toll on Palestinian civilians from Israeli strikes against the Jabalia camp and expresses its compassion for the victims.
It recalls that the protection of civilians is an obligation under international law which applies to everyone.
It reiterates its call for an immediate humanitarian truce so that enough aid over the long term can safely reach those who need it.
