France utterly condemns the Israeli air strike on September 11 against the Al-Jaouni school in the Nuseirat refugee camp that killed numerous civilians, including several UN staffers.
France reiterates its call for the release of all hostages and – in light of the humanitarian emergency in Gaza – for an immediate and lasting ceasefire in order to protect civilian populations and provide massive, unhindered access to humanitarian aid, in accordance with UN Security Resolutions 2712 and 2720. France underscores the imperative need to guarantee the protection of humanitarian workers and UN personnel.
